Underfloor Heating from Boundary Bathrooms

Underfloor heating provides a space saving solution in what can sometimes be a small bathroom area.

However, underfloor heating is not only limited to the bathroom, it can also provide an elegant solution for kitchens, conservatories or any area in the home.

Underfloor Heating

You do have a choice as to how the underfloor heating is installed. There is a loose wire system and a matting system. Each has its own advantages.

The loose wire system can sometimes be a better option when you have a few tight spaces in the room, for example, a gap between a sink and a toilet. The wire is flexible enough to cover all the available floor space and therefore leaves no cold spots.

The matting system allows even coverage over a wide open area. The mat design enables a fast installation and as the cables are already evenly spaced you are guaranteed an even heat across the floor area. They come in various widths and lengths to ease the installation further.

Both the loose wire and the mat systems come with a thermostatic control, and can be installed onto concrete or wooden floors and covered in tiles, laminate floor, and some is suitable for covering in carpet.
